Finally, I Have Proof
Ok, I know its been a while since I’ve posted anything original – but its not due to a lack of effort, it’s more of a lack of time.
Anyway, now that the excuse is out of the way, here’s another youtube video and this one is dedicated to dear old Dad. He and I have been in love with WW2 movies for as long as I can remember. When I was growing up he and I would spend Saturday afternoons watching Henry Fonda or John Wayne or Telly Savalas whoop up on the original Axis while we worked around the house. I swear, I could see Midway a million times in my life and it won’t ever get old.
Then came Band of Brothers, and even though I had moved out by then we both watched it and still talk about it all the time (I’m not sure if my kid brother has seen it yet, but if not pops will make sure that happens soon enough). And I’ve been teasing the old man with rumors of a version of BoB about the Pacific since I first heard about it a year or so ago, but he always seemed skeptical.
