I love this new video from the English FA. It really shows why, and how, guys like me play. I get out twice a week and bust my hump for no one but me and my teammates, and that’s how sports should be. No million dollar bonuses, no endorsements, just the players doing what it takes to win. There are a lot of weekend warriors out there, and it’s about time we got a little bit of glory.
This is an obvious take off on the Nike “Take it to the Next Level” spot, but who cares. That’s one of the greatest commercial’s ever, and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
God, I love sports.
