That’s really all that needs to be said. Oh, and this: Landon Donovan has no place on the US National Team, especially as a starter. If you’re wondering why, there are about 6 teams in Germany that will give you plenty of reasons. Or you can ask the faithful fans of the LA Galaxy. And, if you’re still not convinced try this: watch a game that Landycakes is “playing” in and observe how many times he does something dumb. Or slow. Or wrong. Quite often he’ll string all three of those things together in the form of a decision (I can do that too, but I’ve never been touted as the “best active American soccer player”). Basically, the guy is crap. There are enough talented, young American strikers around now to replace him. Its been fun, Mr. Donovan, but you’re done.
